The Solution

The Crunchy Digital team set up a Google Ads campaign and Search Engine Optimisation to increase the client’s website traffic with a relevant and interested audience. The Google Ads campaign included two ad groups to cover the psychology clinic’s two audiences for individual consultations and organisational workshops. We researched the most effective keywords, and the campaign was set live within a week of onboarding. With the goal of getting more online bookings, the team utilised location targeting and insights to attract the right searchers for the client.

The Search Engine Optimisation campaign started off with a full website audit to assess the existing SEO foundations and make impactful tweaks from the get-go. Moving onto a more off-page and technical approach, the team continued to improve the website’s authority and online reputation.

The Results

Our Google Ads achieved an average of 8,000 impressions per month and an average of 1,140 clicks per month. This was a click-through rate (CTR) of 7.11% and a cost-per-click (CPC) of $2.74.

Search Engine Optimisation resulted in an organic search traffic uptick of 17% over three months. Keywords including ‘psychologists Melbourne’, ‘Melbourne psychologist’  and ‘Melbourne psychologists’ all went from unranked to on page two of Google within six months, alongside improvements in over 289 relevant keywords. 

After six months, Organic Search was responsible for 45% of the business’s website traffic acquisition and 55% of website conversions.
